Surgical Associate - Surgery

Work location: Texas Health Plano 6020 West Parker Road, Plano, TX 75093
Work hours: Full Time; Days; 40 hours/week (6:30P-3P); Monday - Friday
Surgery Department Highlights:

Here's What You Need:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Previous patient care experience in health care in an acute care setting preferred
• Experience in a doctor's office or healthcare helpful
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support required
What You Will Do:
• Restocks warmer with blankets and saline
• Changes sharps containers
• Stocks linen, and bags for trash and linen, as well as red bags
• Follows patient identification requirements
• Maintains patient dignity and confidentiality
• Communicates appropriately with patients and families
• Observes safety procedures in moving patients
