Account Executive
Schedule: Mon-Thurs: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, Fri: 8 am – 2 pm
Pay rate: $80,000 - $90,000
Type: Full Time On-site
Location: Farmingdale, NJ (Fulltime)

Position Description
The Account Executive is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers within the nutraceutical, dietary supplement, health and wellness, and consumer packaged goods industries. This role focuses on generating new business opportunities, managing client accounts, identifying manufacturing solutions, and driving revenue growth for the company’s contract manufacturing and private label services.
The ideal candidate possesses strong sales and relationship management skills, a solid understanding of nutraceutical manufacturing processes, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams including R&D, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Operations, and Customer Service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Business Development
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the dietary supplement and nutraceutical industry.
• Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, and industry research.
• Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
• Prepare and present proposals, pricing, and service agreements.
Account Management
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts.
• Build long-term relationships with clients and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Manage client expectations regarding project timelines, product development, manufacturing schedules, and order fulfillment.
• Conduct regular business reviews with customers to identify growth opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with R&D teams during product formulation and development stages.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs to ensure customer requirements and compliance standards are met.
• Collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain teams to support production planning and product launches.
• Assist in resolving customer concerns related to product quality, delivery, or service.
Industry Representation
• Attend trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events.
• Represent the company professionally within the nutraceutical and dietary supplement marketplace.
• Maintain knowledge of current industry regulations, ingredient trends, and market demands.
Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Experience
• 3–5+ years of sales or account management experience, preferably within:
o Nutraceutical Manufacturing
o Dietary Supplements
o Contract Manufacturing (CMO)
o Health & Wellness Products
o Food Manufacturing
o Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Understanding of nutraceutical manufacturing processes and industry regulations.
• Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and customer accounts simultaneously.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and trade shows.
