The Affiliate EAP Counsellor will provide professional mental health support to corporate employees while ensuring clinical excellence, confidentiality, and compliance with established care standards. The role requires strong therapeutic skills, accurate documentation practices, and the ability to manage diverse cases across different counselling formats.
- Deliver high-quality counselling services through face-to-face, virtual, and telephonic sessions based on allocated cases.
- Provide short-term, solution-focused therapeutic interventions tailored to workplace wellness and employee support needs.
- Build strong therapeutic relationships with clients while maintaining professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality.
- Complete detailed case documentation within required timelines, ensuring accurate records and compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain clinical notes that meet audit requirements and organizational documentation guidelines.
- Follow case authorization procedures and only initiate services through approved notification and verification processes.
- Identify high-risk situations, crisis indicators, and clinical concerns while following established escalation procedures and service-level agreements.
- Maintain ethical professional boundaries, including compliance with non-solicitation and financial integrity policies.
- Collaborate effectively with clinical oversight teams and operational partners to ensure consistent care delivery.
- Represent the organization’s values through compassionate, reliable, and high-quality client interactions.
The ideal candidate is a qualified mental health professional with experience providing counselling services and a strong understanding of workplace wellness, evidence-based interventions, and short-term therapeutic approaches. Candidates should demonstrate clinical excellence, administrative reliability, and strong communication abilities, including fluency in Farsi.
- Master’s degree or higher in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, MPhil, PhD, or a related mental health discipline.
- Valid professional license or registration to practice counselling in India.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification clinical experience after completing a Master’s degree.
- Fluent in Farsi with the ability to provide effective counselling support to Farsi-speaking clients.
- Previous experience as an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provider is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of workplace wellness, stress management, occupational burnout, relationship counselling, grief support, and interpersonal issues.
- Experience applying short-term, solution-focused therapy models.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to establish trust quickly across different counselling formats.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate documentation within strict deadlines.
- High attention to confidentiality, compliance standards, and ethical practices.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with clinical and operational teams.
