The Sr Manager Client Technology will lead cloud operations and engineering initiatives, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of modern cloud and hybrid environments.
This role combines strategic leadership with deep technical expertise, guiding teams responsible for cloud engineering, DevOps, automation, and operational excellence.
The successful candidate will drive improvements in infrastructure stability, deployment processes, and incident response capabilities.
You will collaborate with engineering, security, product, and infrastructure teams to align technology strategies with business goals.

The Sr Manager Client Technology will oversee cloud operations, engineering practices, and service reliability while building a culture of accountability, automation, and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of cloud engineers, DevOps engineers, and operations specialists.
- Establish clear technical direction, encourage ownership, and promote continuous learning across the team.
- Partner with senior leadership, product teams, security teams, and infrastructure groups to align cloud strategies with business objectives.
- Represent cloud operations in leadership discussions by providing clear recommendations, updates, and technical insights.
- Oversee change management processes to ensure secure, predictable, and compliant deployments.
- Act as the escalation point for critical incidents, leading response efforts, communication, root cause analysis, and remediation activities.
- Drive improvements in operational processes, documentation, runbooks, and reliability practices.
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and related automation technologies.
- Standardize build and release processes for applications and infrastructure while improving pipeline reliability.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code practices using tools such as ARM, Bicep, Terraform, or similar solutions.
- Promote DevOps best practices, automation, security, governance, and efficient delivery across engineering teams.
- Manage and support Kubernetes environments, including AKS and/or on-premise clusters.
- Implement GitOps workflows using tools such as Argo CD and support containerized application deployments.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Kubernetes workloads, Helm charts, YAML configurations, and cluster performance.
- Manage Azure resources, subscriptions, policies, integrations, and cloud optimization initiatives.
- Support hybrid cloud strategies, migrations, VMware environments, and virtualization operations.
- Provide oversight for Windows Server administration, patching, performance tuning, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
- Identify opportunities to improve automation, reduce operational risks, and enhance technology reliability.
The ideal candidate will bring strong cloud engineering expertise, leadership capabilities, and experience managing complex enterprise technology environments. Required qualifications and skills include:
- Significant experience leading cloud operations, infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or related technology teams.
- Strong expertise with Microsoft Azure cloud environments, including resource management, subscriptions, policies, and integrations.
- Proven experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code concepts and tools such as Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes environments, including AKS, container orchestration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience implementing GitOps practices and tools such as Argo CD.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps principles, automation strategies, deployment processes, and operational best practices.
- Experience managing hybrid cloud environments, virtualization platforms, and VMware technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, operating systems, cloud platforms, and infrastructure layers.
- Experience handling major incidents, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence technical and business teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
