Senior Quality Assurance Engineer in Noida, Uttar Pradesh at Distro

You will be the senior QA engineer on a project team, owning test strategy end to end — assessing risk, deciding what must be covered, and defending it when timelines compress. You will detail and execute tests, report risk clearly enough for release decisions, work with automation engineers on where automation buys the most confidence, mentor junior engineers, and drive process improvement across teams.

You will need:

• 6+ years in QA or product development, across the full cycle
• Significant testing of multi-tiered web and mobile products
• Strong test planning and documentation discipline
• Functional or load testing tools (Selenium a plus; flexibility matters more)
• Database testing — you write your own queries
• Experience mentoring junior engineers
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent

Nice to have: Agile, payroll or HRIS domain exposure, hands-on automation, performance testing.

The schedule: 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM IST, Monday to Friday, first four hours from the Noida office and the rest from home. Mornings and afternoons are yours.

Where it goes: no direct reports today, but this role grows into QA lead and manager scope.
