Looking to get your foot in the door in manufacturing? At Klute, our Parts Prep / Cleaners / Stagers play an important role in keeping production moving and setting our welders and fabricators up for success.

If you enjoy working with your hands, staying active, and being part of a team, this could be a great opportunity to build your skills, gain hands-on experience, and grow with Klute.

• Clean and prepare steel tubes and plates for welding and fabrication.
• Use grinders and other tools to remove rust, mill scale, slag, burrs, and other imperfections.
• Operate shop tools and equipment, including saws, drills, and shears, as needed.
• Sort, organize, and stage materials to keep production running smoothly.
• Move materials using forklifts and overhead cranes (training provided).
• Inspect parts for quality and ensure they meet production requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Some familiarity with hand tools is helpful, but not required.
• Willingness and ability to learn to safely operate grinders and other shop tools used to clean and prepare steel parts.
• Attention to detail and pride in doing quality work.
• Comfort working in a hands-on, active shop environment.
• A team-first mindset with a commitment to safety and quality.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Manufacturing experience is not required. We're happy to consider candidates who are dependable, motivated, and ready to learn.

• Standing and/or walking throughout the workday.
• Occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs.
• Repetitive movements and tasks, including frequent use of hands to handle tools, materials, and equipment.
