The Senior SharePoint Application Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications while providing technical guidance throughout the software development lifecycle. The role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with business and technical teams.
- Analyze business requirements and functional needs to design effective enterprise application solutions.
- Develop software architecture, technical specifications, workflows, and application designs aligned with organizational objectives.
- Build, test, debug, deploy, and maintain SharePoint-based applications and enterprise solutions.
- Develop solutions using technologies including SharePoint, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, InfoPath, Nintex, Bootstrap, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI.
- Support full SDLC activities, including planning, development, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance.
- Create technical documentation, user guides, and system specifications to support application adoption and long-term maintenance.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to development teams.
- Troubleshoot complex application issues and recommend improvements to enhance performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and user-focused technology solutions.
The ideal candidate is an experienced software developer with strong SharePoint expertise and a background in enterprise application development. They should have experience working in complex IT environments and the ability to manage technical challenges independently.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience developing enterprise SharePoint applications and solutions.
- Experience working with large-scale database management systems (DBMS).
- Proficiency in programming, debugging, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.
- Experience with Microsoft development technologies, including SharePoint, Power Platform tools, and related web technologies.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, application design, and development best practices.
- Experience supporting full software development lifecycle processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to quality and performance.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Federal IT experience preferred.
- Experience supporting government technology environments or similar large-scale programs preferred.
- Agile development experience is a plus.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Competitive annual salary range of $150,000 - $180,000 USD.
