Deli Manager-Full Time in Fargo, North Dakota at Northdale Oil Inc

The Deli Manager helps supervise the day-to-day food service operations. The Deli Manager is a vital member of our organization playing an essential role in the retention of team members, providing a welcoming, positive experience to customers, and ensuring food quality is maintained. The self-motivated, service-orientated individual will be accountable for demonstrating Northdale’s culture of exceptional customer service, serving high quality product, and a team orientated mindset.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Oversee multiple concepts in 24 hour location
• Order deli product from select vendors
• Maintain high level of customer service.
• Supervise and communicate company policy.
• Assist in performing, implementing, and enforcing established daily operating procedures to ensure deli is clean, stocked, organized, and well kept.
• Maintain quality brand image standards.
• Maintain product quality, margin control, and waste management.
• Operate all food service processes: order, stock, label, date, rotate, prepare, and cook.
• Oversee food preparation, portion sizes, and the overall presentation of food.
• Communicate any merchandising problems, price change requests, and equipment problems.
• Enforce all safety policies and procedures and report all employee and/or customer incidents.
• Follow and ensure all health and food safety regulations are met.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1+ year of retail deli management or leadership preferred.
• ServSafe Certification or willing to attain.
