Laundry Attendant in North Augusta, South Carolina at StepStone Hospitality Inc.

Crowne Plaza North Augusta is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to support the hotel’s daily housekeeping operations. This position is responsible for sorting, washing, drying, folding, storing, and distributing hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and other laundry items while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, quality, safety, and efficiency.

The ideal candidate takes pride in producing clean, well-presented linens, works effectively in a fast-paced environment, and understands how laundry operations directly affect room readiness and the overall guest experience. The Laundry Attendant will work closely with Housekeeping leadership, Room Attendants, and other hotel departments to maintain proper linen levels, report damaged items or equipment concerns, and ensure all laundry areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with hotel safety procedures.

• Load articles into washer and make sure correct code is entered into machines.
• Wash clothes according to StepStone and hotel standards.
• Sort dried articles based on item type and check for stains and damage
• Fold and place items in appropriate storage racks.
• Soak contaminated articles in neutralizer solution in vat to precondition for washing.
• Use bio-red bags for contaminated articles when they are found
• Soak articles according to procedure in bleach.
• Pretreat stains with special solutions using safety precautions and proper procedures.
• Check and clean all filters on washers and driers every two hours.
• Deliver the linen to the closets as needed
• Make rounds to pull dirty linen from the housekeeping carts as needed
• Assist with monthly linen inventory
