Full-time Day Shift, Full Benefits:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of our chain of convenience stores that include car washes, food service areas, and fuel pump systems. This role demands technical expertise in equipment maintenance, a proactive approach to preventive care, and logistics management for the delivery of oil and additives. The technician will perform repairs, ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards, and handle light physical demanding tasks to maintain cleanliness and operational excellence. A typical work schedule is M-F, 7:00 – 4:00 PM, a flexible work schedule may be required to include occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays, is essential to support the needs of the business and respond to maintenance emergencies.
Requirements:Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maintenance, with a strong background in car wash systems, fuel dispensers, HVAC systems, and general building maintenance.
- Education: High school diploma required; associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or related fields or related work experience will be considered.
- Flexibility: Availability for a work schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting 50 lbs. or more, standing for long periods, shoveling snow, and performing maintenance in various weather conditions.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and diagnostic skills for troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues efficiently.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for reporting and coordination with staff, management, and external contractors.
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with maintaining and repairing car wash systems, fuel dispensers, and USTs.
- Experience with logistics and delivery operations involving hazardous materials.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental compliance related to maintenance and logistics.
