Role Overview

Working under the direction of the Nurse Manager or Director, and under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides skilled, age-specific care. This role focuses on supporting patient-related tasks and collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient comfort and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct Patient Care: Assist patients with daily Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and perform routine clinical procedures.
• Vital Signs: Measure, record, and monitor patient vital signs accurately.
• Patient Observation: Monitor patients closely and immediately report any changes in condition to the supervising Nurse or Physician.
• Proactive Communication: Serve as a key link by communicating patient needs effectively to the care team.
• Clinical Documentation: Document all patient interactions, care provided, and observations accurately in the medical record.

The night shift pay differential will be paid at 18% of the employee's base rate of pay. The weekend shift pay differential will be paid at 8% of the employee's base rate of pay.
