Job Description

Physician with Addiction Medicine Experience - Contract

Our Mission

We are a dedicated addiction services agency committed to helping individuals reclaim their lives from substance use disorders. Our work is grounded in compassion, evidence-based care, and the belief that recovery is possible for everyone. Every day, we partner with patients, families, and communities to provide holistic treatment that addresses not only the symptoms but the root causes of addiction.

The Impact You'll Make

As an Addiction Medicine Physician, you will be a cornerstone of our clinical team—guiding patients through their recovery journey with medical expertise, empathy, and respect. You will help shape treatment plans that integrate medical, psychological, and social support, ensuring each patient receives care tailored to their unique needs. Your work will directly contribute to reducing relapse rates, improving quality of life, and fostering hope in those who need it most.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct comprehensive medical assessments for patients entering treatment and ensure quality of care around medically complex patients.
  • Prescribe and manage medication-assisted treatment (MAT) such as buprenorphine, methadone, or naltrexone.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as needed.
  • Provide education and oversight to the medical staff around the areas of complex medical needs for those receiving addiction services including but not limited to detox.

What You'll Bring

  • MD or DO with board certification in Addiction Medicine, Psychiatry, or Family/Internal Medicine with addiction training.
  • Current state medical license and DEA registration.
  • Experience with medication-assisted treatment and evidence-based addiction care.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, nonjudgmental approach to patient care.
  • Commitment to multidisciplinary collaboration and continuous learning.
