Accountabilities:

As Laboratory Quality Assurance Analyst, you will oversee quality assurance processes, maintain compliance documentation, and support the implementation and continuous improvement of quality management practices across laboratory and technical operations.

  • Develop and implement quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with applicable quality assurance standards, guidelines, and procedures.

  • Define major and minor quality characteristics, establish quality metrics, and develop scoring parameters to assess performance and process effectiveness.

  • Identify and determine the resources required to implement and maintain effective quality control activities.

  • Establish, maintain, and improve Quality Management System (QMS) processes for evaluating hardware, software, and associated technical documentation.

  • Conduct internal audits against ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 17025:2017 requirements to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Participate in formal third-party ISO conformity audits and informal quality reviews at designated stages throughout the development lifecycle.

  • Create, maintain, and publish quality assurance forms, templates, standard operating procedures, and other controlled documentation.

  • Read and interpret technical processes, business documents, industry standards, Department of Defense (DoD) requirements, and applicable regulations to support quality and compliance activities.

  • Prepare clear, accurate, and comprehensive audit reports and quality documentation independently.

  • Report in person to the laboratory in Atlantic City, New Jersey, once per quarter, and occasionally travel to other laboratory locations for meetings.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate has a strong background in quality assurance or quality control, experience with internationally recognized quality standards, and the ability to work independently in a technically demanding environment. You should be detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of translating complex technical requirements into effective quality processes and documentation.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • At least 5 years of specialized experience in quality assurance and/or quality control.

  • Demonstrated training and expertise in conducting internal audits against ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 17025:2017 standards.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents, technical processes, procedures, industry standards, DoD standards, models, and regulations.

  • Strong technical writing skills, including the ability to prepare clear, accurate reports without supervision.

  • Proven ability to work independently, manage responsibilities effectively, and exercise sound judgment when evaluating quality processes.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify compliance gaps and recommend improvements.

  • Willingness and ability to report to the laboratory in Atlantic City, New Jersey, once per quarter.

  • Flexibility to travel occasionally to other laboratories for meetings and quality-related activities.

Benefits:
