Job Description
Grapevine Relief and Community Exchange (GRACE) has an opening at our resale store, GRACEful Buys in Grapevine. GRACE is looking for a hardworking, hands-on leader who enjoys staying active, working both indoors and outdoors, and helping turn donated items into resources that support the community.
This is not a desk job.
As the Lead Warehouse Associate/Driver, you'll spend your day unloading donations, moving furniture, organizing inventory, supporting customers and donors, operating company vehicles, and helping manage the warehouse and backlot sales area. You'll also provide day-to-day direction to other Warehouse Associates and help ensure the store is stocked, organized, safe, and ready for customers.
If you enjoy physical work, take pride in organization, and can jump from greeting a donor to moving a couch to coordinating a delivery, this may be the role for you.
What Your Day Might Look Like
Opening the store and preparing registers before customers arrive.
Greeting donors and helping unload vehicles filled with donated items.
Moving furniture, appliances, and other large merchandise throughout the warehouse and sales areas.
Working in the outdoor backlot organizing merchandise and assisting customers with purchases.
Coordinating incoming inventory from Donation Station and determining what merchandise is needed most.
Directing Warehouse Associates on daily priorities and projects.
Loading and delivering furniture and merchandise using company vehicles.
Maintaining organization throughout the warehouse, backlot, and storage areas.
Ensuring daily building, vehicle, and safety inspections are completed.
Assisting customers with loading purchases and answering questions about merchandise.
Closing the store, balancing registers, and securing the facility at the end of the day.

Has experience operating box trucks, cargo vans, or similar vehicles.
Is comfortable working independently and making day-to-day operational decisions.
