Job Description
• Electrical Assembly: Wiring, crimping, read schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Gluing: Light gluing of plumbing assemblies, PVC pipe and fittings.
• Perform all duties according to established safety and efficiency procedures.
• Maintain workstation in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.
• Enter material and scrap information into Epicor MRP computer system.
• Assemble finish or components according to production schedule.
• Properly align placement of materials or parts on unit.
• Identify parts by correct part number.
• Identify and place correct parts on unit and follow model mix-sequence according to production schedule.
• Move parts, materials or containers, as needed (lifting, pulling, pushing) using safe work.
• Follow all EHS guidelines.
• Follow Job Safety Instructions (JSI).
• Apply Ergonomic principles to job.
• Knowledge of Quality policy and guidelines.
• Knowledge Quality Policy and overview of Quality Operating System.
• Perform Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:• Familiar with shop environment, clean, organized, meticulous.
• Skilled with standard mechanical tools, able to work with small and large hardware in tight enclosures if necessary, understands mechanical drawings.
• Ability to use hand tools such as drill, screwdriver, etc.
• Read, comprehend and strictly follow all documented processes and procedures.
• Meet or exceed daily production goals and quality requirements.
• Must be able to stand up to 8 to 12-hours per day and be flexible in working various shift schedules.
• Wear proper PPE.
• Identify EHS problems and solutions.
• Knowledge of and be able to respond to Quality Auditor questions.
• Inspect to accept according to Quality Standards.
• Knowledge of how to disposition and dispense of rejected parts or materials.
• Participate in team meetings, (problem solving, communications, etc.).
Qualifications
• Ability to interpret and support standards, policies and procedures established by CMP Federal/State/Local agencies.
• Basic ability to read, write and understand English.
• Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic mathematic skills.
• Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Good hand eye coordination.
Education
• High School diploma or equivalent.
Work Environment
• Must always wear proper PPE.
• Non air-conditioned workstations.
• Electrical Safety.
• High Pressure application Foam dispenser in use.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. throughout the day.
