About the Role

We are looking for a Manager, Corporate Development & Investor Relations to work closely with the CFO and senior leadership team on strategic initiatives, fundraising, investor engagement and corporate development.

This is a high-impact role offering direct exposure to senior management, global investors, financial institutions and strategic partners. The successful candidate will combine strong analytical capabilities with commercial judgment, excellent communication skills and the ability to independently execute complex workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Development & Strategic Initiatives

  • Evaluate strategic growth opportunities, new business initiatives, partnerships and potential M&A transactions.

  • Develop financial models, business cases and commercial analyses to support strategic decisions.

  • Work with business teams to assess new products, markets and expansion opportunities.

  • Support the structuring, negotiation and execution of strategic partnerships and corporate transactions.

Fundraising & Capital Markets

  • Support equity and debt fundraising processes, including investor identification, financial analysis, transaction materials, due diligence and execution.

  • Research and engage potential investors, including venture capital and growth equity funds, strategic investors, development finance institutions and debt providers.

  • Prepare financial models, valuation analyses, investor presentations and other transaction materials.

  • Coordinate with external advisors, legal counsel and other stakeholders throughout transaction processes.

Investor Relations

  • Manage ongoing engagement with existing and prospective investors.

  • Prepare investor updates, board materials, financial and operational performance analyses, and responses to investor inquiries.

  • Track investor discussions, maintain relationships and coordinate follow-up activities.

  • Develop a strong understanding of the company's operating performance, growth drivers, unit economics and competitive positioning.

Financial & Strategic Analysis

  • Analyse business performance, industry trends, market developments and competitive dynamics to support management decisions.

  • Build and maintain financial models, forecasts and scenario analyses.

  • Translate complex financial and operational information into clear, commercially relevant recommendations for senior management.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, venture capital, transaction advisory or a similar analytical role.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or a related discipline.

  • Financial skills: Strong financial modelling, valuation, analytical and presentation capabilities.

  • Commercial judgment: Ability to understand business models, evaluate growth opportunities and identify key commercial and financial drivers.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal English, with the ability to prepare high-quality presentations and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.

  • Execution: Highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Mindset: Proactive, intellectually curious and willing to take ownership of projects from analysis through execution.

Experience in fintech, financial services, payments or Southeast Asian markets would be an advantage, but is not essential.

Why Join BukuWarung?
