Job Description

Starting Pay Rate: $30 per hour

Temporary-Starting August 24, 2026 – August 28, 2026

Purpose: Assist individuals with neurological impairments or learning disabilities through a one-week experiential, educational/recreational program with organizational, computer writing skill development as well as social development, team building and problem solving.

Job Duties:

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Supervise and accompany students to various planned activities.
  • Provide peer socialization opportunities.
  • Monitor participant attendance.
  • Assist students in creating a digital journal.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all work-related information.

Education:

  • NYS teacher’s certification is required.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of effective teaching strategies, computers, and Microsoft Office is required.
  • Verbal and written communication, multi-tasking, attention to detail, problem solving, ability to make decisions independently, and excellent organization.
