Senior Technical Consultant in India at Jobgether

This role is focused on delivering end-to-end solutions on ServiceNow with a strong emphasis on IT Asset Management (ITAM), including Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM).
You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing asset lifecycle processes that drive efficiency, compliance, and operational excellence.
The position involves close collaboration with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions aligned with enterprise architecture.
A major part of the role includes building and maintaining integrations with tools such as endpoint management and procurement systems.
You will also ensure high-quality asset data through governance, reconciliation, and alignment with CMDB structures.
Working in an agile environment, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while supporting broader ITSM capabilities as needed.

• Lead the implementation and enhancement of ITAM solutions within ServiceNow, focusing on HAM and SAM capabilities.
• Design and manage end-to-end asset lifecycle processes, including procurement, onboarding, inventory tracking, allocation, transfer, and disposal.
• Develop and maintain integrations with enterprise tools (e.g., SCCM, Intune, JAMF, procurement systems) using REST, SOAP, MID Server, and APIs.
• Ensure accurate asset data governance and maintain alignment between CMDB records and asset information.
• Configure software normalization, license reconciliation, and compliance processes within SAM Pro environments.
• Build and support workflows, business rules, client scripts, and automation using JavaScript and Glide APIs.
• Conduct data audits, system health checks, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure platform reliability.
• Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery tracking.
• Provide secondary support for ITSM and related modules when required.

• 4+ years of hands-on experience working with ServiceNow development and implementation.
• Strong expertise in ITAM, including Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM).
• Proven experience in asset lifecycle management and enterprise integrations (REST, SOAP, APIs, MID Server).
• Solid understanding of CMDB structure, configuration, and asset relationship mapping.
• Experience working with enterprise endpoint and asset management tools.
• Good exposure to ITSM, Discovery, and other platform modules.
• Strong scripting skills in JavaScript and Glide API development.
• Hands-on experience with Flow Designer and Integration Hub.
• ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS-HAM, CIS-SAM) are highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
