What You'll Do

As an Automotive Service Technician, you'll inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair customer and dealership vehicles while delivering the quality workmanship our customers expect.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform maintenance, diagnostic, and repair work accurately and efficiently in accordance with repair orders, dealership standards, and manufacturer procedures.
  • Diagnose vehicle concerns and perform necessary repairs.
  • Inspect vehicles for additional maintenance, safety concerns, or recommended service.
  • Communicate with Service Advisors regarding diagnostic findings, additional work needed, and repair status.
  • Work with the Parts Department to identify and obtain necessary parts.
  • Properly document inspections, repairs, services performed, and recommendations.
  • Follow manufacturer and dealership warranty procedures, including proper handling and tagging of warranty parts.
  • Road-test vehicles as necessary to verify concerns and completed repairs.
  • Use manufacturer technical information, service bulletins, diagnostic equipment, and other available resources.
  • Participate in required manufacturer and dealership training.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Protect and properly care for customer and dealership vehicles.
  • Follow all dealership safety procedures and applicable environmental and hazardous-material requirements.
What We're Looking For

We're hiring technicians at multiple skill and experience levels. Your responsibilities and assignments will be appropriate to your training, experience, certifications, and demonstrated abilities.

We're looking for candidates who bring:

  • Automotive maintenance and/or repair experience appropriate to the position.
  • A strong mechanical aptitude and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • The ability to diagnose and repair vehicle concerns appropriate to your experience level.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • The ability to accurately document work performed.
  • Basic computer and electronic diagnostic proficiency.
  • A dependable, self-motivated approach to work.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a Service team.
  • A willingness to participate in ongoing technical and manufacturer training.
  • A valid driver's license and driving record acceptable under company standards.

ASE and manufacturer certifications are preferred but not required for all technician levels.

Schedule

This is a full-time position, with a regular schedule Monday through Friday and some Saturdays based on business needs.
