The YMCA Membership Representative is a welcoming, energetic, and community-minded team member who helps individuals and families discover everything the YMCA has to offer. This position is about more than signing up members—it’s about building relationships, creating a sense of belonging, and helping people find programs, services, and opportunities that fit their needs.

The Membership Representative is an important ambassador for the Y throughout the community, helping us welcome new members, engage current members, and build lasting connections with individuals, families, businesses, schools, and community organizations.

What You'll Do
Welcome members, guests, and prospective members with a friendly and enthusiastic attitude.
Give engaging tours of the YMCA and introduce people to our facilities, programs, services, and membership options.
Connect individuals and families with programs and opportunities that meet their interests and goals.
Build relationships with members and help create a strong sense of belonging.
Participate in community outreach, events, fairs, school activities, and other opportunities to promote the Y.
Assist with membership enrollment, account updates, payments, and other administrative responsibilities.
Help resolve member questions and concerns in a positive and professional manner.
Support a welcoming, clean, safe, and inclusive environment for everyone.
Work as part of a team to advance the YMCA's mission and strengthen our community.
