Work hours: PRN Nights, "as needed", 6:45pm-7:15am, weekends required

Telemetry Monitoring Department Highlights:

Here's What You Need
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- EKG certification strongly preferred
- 1 year of telemetry monitoring experience strongly preferred
- GE Monitoring System experience preferred
- Basic understanding/ability to learn medical terminology
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.
What You Will Do:
- Demonstrates competence in the set up and use of the telemetry monitoring equipment.
- Collects, reports, and documents patient information (rhythms/rate) timely and accurately.
- Seeks assistance, supervision, or consultation when unsure of rhythm(s) identification.
- Distinguishes and reports abnormalities and initiates action to provide.
- Distinguishes and reports abnormalities and initiates action to provide continuity of care.
- Processes admission and discharge or patients in system promptly. Prepares monitor for next patient admission.
- Notifies patient's primary RN promptly of any changes in patient's monitor view.
