Principal Biostatistician(Clinical Pharmacology)

Accountabilities:
  • Provide statistical leadership and expertise for clinical pharmacology studies across various stages of drug development.
  • Design, analyze, and interpret statistical methodologies for clinical trials and related research activities.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including clinical development, programming, medical writing, and regulatory affairs.
  • Develop and review statistical analysis plans, study protocols, and study reports to ensure scientific accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Support decision-making processes by delivering high-quality statistical insights and recommendations.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of statistical deliverables and study outputs.
  • Contribute to process improvements, innovation initiatives, and best practices within biostatistics and clinical research operations.
  • Mentor junior statisticians and support knowledge-sharing across teams when needed.
  • Participate in client interactions and communicate complex statistical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Advanced degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Extensive experience in biostatistics within clinical research, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO environments.
  • Strong expertise in clinical pharmacology studies and statistical methodologies used in drug development.
  • Proficiency with statistical software such as SAS, R, or similar analytical tools.
  • Experience developing statistical analysis plans, protocols, and regulatory submission documents.
  • Strong understanding of global clinical trial regulations and industry standards.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional global teams in remote or matrixed organizations.
  • Leadership capabilities with experience mentoring or guiding team members preferred.
