Summary of Position:
Provide support to Quality and Manufacturing in the areas of Quality Control and Product release. Participate in activities such as inspecting and testing products to ensure they meet specified quality standards, documentations of results, releasing products to inventory, redaction and approval of certificates to customers’ requirements and other duties as assigned by the Head of Quality Management.
Essential Functions and Duties:
- Perform activities such as Inspecting and testing samples of products
- Perform product acceptance at incoming and product release to inventory
- Data entry of inspection in ERP system
- Manage daily priorities to ensure deliveries
- Support Production with product evaluation and control
- Drafting and approving Product certification
- Document non conformance and support investigations
- Identify areas for improvement; recommend and implement solutions
- Support on-going compliance through re-validation evaluation
- Participating in team meetings and departmental objectives
- Product Release
Non-essential Functions and Duties:
- Maintain job related processes / work instructions
- Other duties may be assigned by the Head of Quality Management
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diplomat or equivalent experience
- 3 years’ of experience performing a Quality function in a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- General inspection, metrology and laboratory processes and equipment knowledge
- Working knowledge in regulated environment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical problem-solving skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Word, Excel, Project, statistical software computer skills
Physical Attributes:
- Observe and hear warning signs and signals within all areas of the company
- May stand or sit for up to 8 hours at a time at a given work station
- May lift up to 25 lbs at any given time
- Will be working in a fast-paced, team environment
Work Environment:
- Work is performed in a manufacturing environment
- The employee may occasionally be exposed to dust
- The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate
- Will work in a fast-paced, team environment
“Hourly Base range between $26.61 and $32.52. Final salary will depend on the individual skills and experience level.
