This role sits at the core of production stability and operational excellence for large-scale enterprise applications running in cloud environments. You will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of critical systems while responding quickly to production incidents and driving root-cause resolution. The position blends hands-on DevOps execution with strong collaboration across engineering, QA, and architecture teams to continuously improve observability, automation, and deployment practices. You will work in a fast-paced, global environment where operational rigor and proactive problem-solving are key to success. Beyond incident management, you will help shape operational standards, playbooks, and best practices that improve system resilience. This is a high-impact role where your work directly influences system uptime and customer experience.

In this role, you will act as a key guardian of production systems, ensuring smooth operations, rapid incident response, and continuous improvement of cloud-based applications. You will manage deployments, monitor system health, and enhance observability frameworks while collaborating closely with engineering teams to improve reliability and scalability. You will also contribute to operational documentation and mentor junior engineers to strengthen team capability.

• Act as first responder for production incidents, ensuring timely triage and resolution
• Monitor application performance, uptime, and system reliability across environments
• Deploy and configure cloud-native applications in production environments
• Improve observability through enhanced logging, monitoring, and alerting systems
• Develop and maintain operational playbooks, SOPs, and incident response procedures
• Collaborate with development, QA, and architecture teams to enhance system stability
• Participate in Agile and DevOps ceremonies including sprint planning and backlog grooming
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance for operational excellence

The ideal candidate has strong experience in production operations, DevOps practices, and cloud-based application management. You should be comfortable working in high-pressure environments, resolving complex technical issues, and ensuring system reliability at scale. Strong scripting ability, cloud exposure, and collaboration skills are essential for success in this role.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related technical field
• 5+ years of experience in managing enterprise-grade applications in production
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps preferred)
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and serverless architectures
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex systems
• Familiarity with observability tools, logging, and monitoring practices
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and production support
