Senior Technical Product Manager

This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, engineering execution, and business impact, driving the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing technology solutions. You will act as the key link between stakeholders and development teams, translating complex business needs into clear, actionable product requirements. The position involves owning and refining product backlogs, ensuring alignment across architecture, engineering, and business objectives. You will help shape roadmap decisions by balancing customer value, technical feasibility, and platform health. Operating in a fast-paced, agile environment, you will influence cross-functional teams while driving predictable and high-quality delivery outcomes. This is a highly visible role where your decisions directly impact product performance, customer experience, and operational efficiency.

Accountabilities

You will own the definition, prioritization, and continuous refinement of the product backlog, ensuring business needs are translated into clear epics, features, and user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria and delivery expectations. You will collaborate closely with engineering and architecture teams to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with system design principles while managing trade-offs between delivery speed, technical constraints, and long-term platform sustainability.

  • Define and maintain a high-quality product backlog aligned with business strategy and customer outcomes
  • Translate complex requirements into structured, testable user stories and epics
  • Partner with engineering, QA, and architecture teams to ensure scalable and secure solution design
  • Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and agile delivery ceremonies
  • Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and delivery blockers proactively
  • Track product performance metrics to guide roadmap and prioritization decisions
  • Balance feature delivery with technical debt reduction and platform improvements
  • Act as a key stakeholder liaison, ensuring alignment across technical and business teams
Requirements

You bring strong experience in technical product ownership or similar roles within agile, engineering-driven environments, with the ability to confidently engage in discussions around APIs, system architecture, cloud ecosystems, and data-driven platforms. You are comfortable operating in ambiguity, making informed decisions with incomplete information, and driving clarity across teams. A strong understanding of product delivery in regulated or data-sensitive environments is highly valued.

  • 5+ years of experience in Technical Product Owner, Product Manager, Software Engineering, or similar roles
  • Strong technical acumen with exposure to APIs, integrations, and cloud-native systems
  • Experience working in agile environments with cross-functional engineering teams
  • Ability to translate business problems into clear, actionable technical requirements
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures and AI-enabled systems (preferred)
  • Strong analytical thinking, prioritization, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience in regulated or data-heavy domains (e.g., background screening) is a plus
  • Ability to balance product innovation with platform stability and security
