Pharmacy Tech Evening Supervisor Position Summary
The Pharmacy Tech Supervisor oversees all aspects of Pharmacy Technician duties within the Central Pharmacy Department. They prepare written performance evaluations of pharmacy technicians and review performance evaluations with employees within a prescribed time period. Addresses and documents areas requiring correction in technicians' behavior or performance and refers potential disciplinary problems to the Pharmacy Supervisor or Manager. They are responsible for the scheduling of Pharmacy technicians and overseeing the onboarding and training of newly hired pharmacy technicians. The Supervisor is a working supervisor and is expected to assist in performing daily pharmacy technician duties. They are responsible for insuring compliance with State Board of Pharmacy regulations regarding inspections of medication areas as well as compliance with other surveying organizations.
Pharmacy Tech Evening Supervisor Position Requirements
Education
- High school Diploma or equivalent is required.
Required License and/or Certification
TidalHealth Peninsula Regional:
- Registered by the Maryland State Board of Pharmacy to practice as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of Maryland and must follow all regulations as per those regulations.
TidalHealth Peninsula Regional and TidalHealth Nanticoke:

- Certification through an accredited National Certification Board or Certification through an accredited National Certification Board within 6 months of hire.
- Valid driver’s license and verification of insurability under TidalHealth’s auto policy
