You will play a key role in ensuring the integrity, compliance, and accuracy of accounting operations within a regulated financial environment. This position is highly strategic within a payment institution, where you will contribute directly to financial governance, regulatory adherence, and reporting quality.
The role involves working with complex accounting structures aligned with Central Bank regulations, requiring strong technical expertise and attention to detail.
You will be responsible for supporting financial closings, audits, and regulatory submissions, ensuring transparency and reliability of financial data.

- Perform full accounting bookkeeping for a Payment Institution in compliance with COSIF standards and Central Bank of Brazil (BACEN) regulations.
- Record accounting transactions in accordance with COSIF, BCB resolutions, CPC standards, and applicable prudential norms.
- Execute accounting and financial reconciliations, including bank accounts, clearing accounts, Pix settlements, customer balances, and payment float controls.
- Manage provisions, contingencies, expected losses, impairment, taxes, judicial deposits, and asset movements.
- Support monthly, semi-annual, and annual accounting closing processes, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and compliance.
- Prepare and validate mandatory financial statements such as Balance Sheet (BP), Income Statement (DRE), Cash Flow Statement (DFC), and others required by regulation.
- Support regulatory reporting to BACEN, including CADOCs and other mandatory submissions.
- Ensure proper segregation and classification of payment accounts under prudential accounting standards.
- Control financial revenues and expenses, including transaction-based income and payment-related fees.
- Assist in prudential indicator monitoring such as regulatory capital and reference equity metrics.
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring documentation integrity and audit trail compliance.
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure alignment with BACEN, CPC, and IFRS standards.
- Contribute to accounting treatment of intangible assets, including capitalization of internally developed products and CAPEX/OPEX classification.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for accounting processes, internal controls, and automation.
- Degree in Accounting Sciences (completed).
- Proven experience in accounting within financial institutions, fintechs, or payment institutions.
- Solid knowledge of COSIF and Central Bank of Brazil (BACEN) regulations.
- Experience in financial closing processes and preparation of financial statements.
- Knowledge of CPC and IFRS standards applied to financial markets.
- Experience with accounting reconciliations and financial controls.
- Strong Excel skills (intermediate to advanced).
- Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and compliance orientation.
- Ability to work in highly regulated, deadline-driven environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional interaction.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Pix operations, payment accounts, or acquiring business models.
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting (CADOCs) and BACEN submissions.
- Familiarity with prudential indicators and regulatory capital management.
- Experience with external audits and regulatory compliance processes.
