Responsibilities:

• Champion and enforce a strong culture of workplace safety across all shift operations, ensuring compliance with established safety standards and protocols.
• Oversee and maintain adherence to quality systems, procedures, and operational programs to ensure consistent production excellence.
• Drive operational performance by improving productivity, maximizing efficiency, and minimizing downtime during assigned shifts.
• Coordinate workforce allocation and staffing requirements to maintain optimal production levels while ensuring safety, quality, and operational effectiveness are not compromised.
• Manage and accurately document operational metrics including employee timekeeping, production output, scrap rates, yield performance, and other required reporting.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration with team members, supervisors, senior leadership, and cross-functional departments to support operational goals.
• Encourage a collaborative work environment by partnering with multiple departments and facilities to successfully execute projects and achieve organizational objectives.
• Reinforce company policies, procedures, and professional work standards while promoting accountability and strong workplace ethics.
• Inspire and motivate employees by serving as a positive leader, recognizing team contributions, and maintaining a supportive work environment.
• Provide mentorship, coaching, and hands-on training to employees, supporting professional development and succession planning as organizational growth continues.
• Support shift operations by assisting with various production responsibilities when necessary to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted workflow.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; an Associates degree in Supervision, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
• 2-4 years of supervisory experience leading production teams within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
• Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities to address operational challenges effectively.
• Proven project management experience with the ability to coordinate and execute initiatives successfully.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, along with experience using Google Workspace and Microsoft Outlook.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
