This role offers the opportunity to lead enterprise-scale cloud and application architecture initiatives within a highly collaborative and innovation-driven environment. You will work closely with business and engineering teams to design scalable, cost-efficient, and future-ready technology solutions that support strategic growth objectives. The position combines deep technical expertise with strong business acumen, allowing you to influence architectural standards, cloud governance, and financial optimization strategies across complex multi-cloud ecosystems. You will play a key role in defining reference architectures, guiding solution delivery, and embedding FinOps principles into technology decision-making. Working across cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders, you will help shape enterprise architecture strategies that balance technical performance, operational efficiency, and cost predictability. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced architect who thrives on solving large-scale technical challenges while driving measurable business value.

Accountabilities:
  • Define, maintain, and evolve enterprise cloud and application architecture patterns, blueprints, and reference frameworks across platform, application, data, and integration domains.
  • Develop architecture standards that support scalability, rapid delivery, operational consistency, and predictable financial outcomes.
  • Embed cost optimization and FinOps principles into architecture design processes, ensuring cloud economics are considered from the earliest planning stages.
  • Create and maintain cost models associated with architectural patterns, including scalability assumptions, cost drivers, and unit economics where applicable.
  • Collaborate with engineering and business teams to align workloads with the most cost-effective and technically appropriate cloud solutions.
  • Participate in architecture governance and review boards to evaluate technical, financial, and operational impacts of solution decisions.
  • Produce architecture decision artifacts, trade-off analyses, and cost comparisons to support executive technology investment decisions.
  • Promote adoption of standardized architecture patterns through documentation, enablement initiatives, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Continuously assess emerging cloud technologies, pricing models, and optimization opportunities to refine enterprise architecture strategies.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in cloud, platform, or enterprise application architecture with demonstrated leadership in large-scale environments.
  • Proven expertise designing and governing enterprise multi-cloud architectures across infrastructure, platform, and application layers.
  • Strong understanding of cloud economics, cost-aware architecture practices, and FinOps methodologies.
  • Experience defining and implementing enterprise architecture standards, patterns, and reference architectures.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence technical and business leaders at senior levels.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to balance innovation, scalability, and cost optimization.
  • Experience collaborating with Enterprise Architecture teams, Cloud Centers of Excellence (CCoE), or architecture governance boards.
  • Familiarity with large-scale cloud financial management, forecasting, and optimization initiatives.
  • Preferred certifications include FinOps Certified Practitioner (FCP), TOGAF, or equivalent enterprise architecture credentials.
  • Professional-level cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect are highly valued.
Benefits:
  • Fully remote work opportunity within the United States.
  • Competitive salary with location-based compensation ranging approximately from $132,232 to $193,940 annually.
  • Comprehensive healthcare, life insurance, and wellness benefits.
  • Access to short-term and long-term incentive programs where applicable.
  • Retirement and financial wellbeing support programs.
  • Flexible and collaborative work culture focused on innovation and transparency.
  • Opportunities for career growth, leadership development, and enterprise-level impact.
  • Exposure to advanced cloud architecture, governance, and FinOps initiatives at scale.
  • Inclusive workplace committed to diversity, equity, and equal opportunity.
