CERTIFIED RESPIRATORY CARE PRACT
** Sign on bonus of $7,500 eligible to external hires only **

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
-
The Respiratory Care Practitioner provides Respiratory Care modalities to patients as ordered by physicians, including but not limited to the administration of respiratory related medications, oxygen and humidity therapies, airway clearance therapy, invasive and non-invasive ventilation, etc., in accordance to established policy and procedure and based on accepted national standards, practices and regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS
-
Professional/Educational
-
CRT Licensed in the State of Illinois.

Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
-
Certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) prior to completion of department orientation.

Certified by the American Heart Association in ACLS and PALS, (highly recommended).
-
DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.

Personal

Works effectively with others, possessing tact, discretion and diplomacy.

Demonstrates leadership and teaching ability.

Possesses the ability to work under pressure.

Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
