Accountabilities:
  • Lead the development, coordination, and production of proposal submissions, presentations, interviews, and other pursuit-related deliverables from inception through completion.
  • Drive large and complex pursuit strategies, contributing to messaging, visual concepts, interview preparation, and client-focused content designed to maximize win rates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop marketing strategies, support business development initiatives, and align pursuit efforts with broader organizational goals.
  • Create, update, and maintain marketing collateral, project profiles, resumes, presentations, and promotional materials while ensuring brand consistency and high-quality standards.
  • Conduct market, client, and competitive research to support strategic decision-making and pursuit planning.
  • Lead regional and local marketing initiatives including sponsorships, events, award submissions, photography coordination, and brand visibility campaigns.
  • Develop expertise in service offerings, project portfolios, and market sectors to strengthen marketing effectiveness and strategic positioning.
  • Support the development of junior marketing team members through mentoring, peer review, and knowledge sharing while maintaining accurate records, databases, and proposal management systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or proposal development within a professional services environment; 7+ years preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead large, complex pursuits and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking, business writing, content development, and visual communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience creating high-quality proposals, presentations, marketing collateral, and client-facing communications.
  • Excellent project management, organization, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with CRM and project management tools such as Deltek VantagePoint and Miro is considered an advantage.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, innovative, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
  • Ability to provide work samples demonstrating design, layout, and writing expertise.
