About the role
We are hiring a Store Manager for our CocoNene location at Kings' Shops in Waikoloa.
This is not typical retail. Our team blends hospitality, product knowledge, and focused guest service. As the Store Manager, you’ll lead a team that guides guests to meaningful, locally made products while representing Hawai‘i artists with warmth, professionalism, and pride.
We’re looking for someone who genuinely connects with our story, takes pride in our local roots, and wants to help carry that story forward through their leadership.
Pay: $65K to $80K (base salary + bonuses)Full-Time Benefits: Medical, 401k, PTO, employee discount across all sister brands
What you'll do
Lead by example on the sales floor, welcoming guests with warmth, aloha, and professionalismModel authentic product storytelling and represent Hawai‘i-made products and local artists with prideReinforce and coach authentic product knowledge (not scripted) across the teamParticipate in management training meetings, monthly sales rallies, and required off-site meetingsSupport and coach the team in real time to deliver consistent, high-quality guest experiencesHelp guide guests through personalization and meaningful gift selection when neededMaintain store readiness, visual standards, and an inviting environment throughout the dayManage daily store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, deposits, and task executionEnsure accurate inventory control by receiving deliveries, monitoring stock levels, and maintaining organized backstockAchieve store goals by managing floor flow, coverage, and performance focus during shiftsCommunicate with internal departments (such as production, inventory, visual, or leadership partners) to support store needs, resolve issues, and keep operations running smoothlyUphold and reinforce a positive, collaborative team cultureThis role is for someone who enjoys leading people, driving performance, and keeping the store running smoothly, not just managing tasks.

Comfort operating in a fast-paced, technology-supported retail environment is essential. Other skills will be supported and developed in role.Experience working in a tourist-heavy or international guest environmentFamiliarity with inventory processes such as receiving, replenishment, or countsComfort using shared digital tools (POS systems, email, spreadsheets, or task trackers)Experience providing real-time coaching or feedback on the sales floorFamiliarity with sales metrics or daily performance goalsBackground in a hospitality-driven, values-based, or locally made brandAvailability & Requirements:
Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and late hoursAbility to commit to a full-time leadership schedule of approximately 40–50 hours per week(Kings' Shops is open 365 days; current store hours: 10am–8pm)High school graduate or equivalentWhy Join Us?
