Senior Program Manager, Client Implementation & PMO

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Program Manager, Client Implementation & PMO based in the United States.

This is a senior leadership opportunity focused on delivering complex, enterprise-wide programs with significant business impact.
You will oversee multiple interconnected workstreams and translate strategic priorities into clear execution roadmaps.
The role partners closely with Product, Engineering, IT, Operations, Client Services, Finance, and external stakeholders.
You will establish strong governance, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure programs deliver measurable value on time and within budget.
Working with senior executives, you will provide data-driven insights, resolve high-impact challenges, and guide critical decisions.
The position also offers the opportunity to mentor program and project managers while strengthening delivery practices across the organization.
Success in this role requires strategic thinking, strong influence, and the ability to lead effectively through ambiguity and change.

Accountabilities
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale, enterprise-level programs and portfolios spanning multiple business units, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, timelines, budgets, quality standards, and expected outcomes.
  • Define program strategies, objectives, success metrics, roadmaps, and value realization plans, translating complex or ambiguous business priorities into structured execution plans.
  • Coordinate multiple interdependent workstreams, proactively managing dependencies, constraints, risks, and competing priorities to maintain delivery momentum.
  • Establish and continuously improve program governance frameworks, standards, processes, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Lead executive-level governance forums, steering committees, and decision boards, providing clear insights into financial performance, risks, milestones, dependencies, and business outcomes.
  • Present trade-offs, scenarios, recommendations, and actionable information to support timely and effective executive decision-making.
  • Maintain comprehensive program documentation, including decisions, scope changes, acceptance criteria, plans, and other governance materials.
  • Drive resolution of high-impact risks, issues, conflicts, and cross-functional challenges, serving as a key escalation point when necessary.
  • Ensure organizational readiness for major milestones, including testing, go-to-market activities, implementation, and go-live.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities that increase delivery speed, predictability, efficiency, and quality.
  • Partner with functional leaders, executives, clients, and external partners to align priorities, expectations, and measurable outcomes.
  • Influence stakeholders across organizational boundaries without relying on direct authority, building strong relationships and maintaining alignment throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop program and project managers while promoting consistent delivery practices and strengthening organizational capabilities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of experience leading complex, cross-functional programs or program portfolios, with a proven record of delivering enterprise-scale initiatives with significant business impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently, navigate ambiguity, and influence senior and executive stakeholders across multiple functions.
  • Strong expertise in strategic planning, program governance, portfolio coordination, risk management, and value realization.
  • Advanced knowledge of Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid program and project delivery methodologies.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple interconnected workstreams while maintaining focus on strategic priorities and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to assess complex situations and develop practical recommendations.
  • Experience leading teams or mentoring program and project managers, with a focus on consistency, accountability, and capability development.
  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
  • MBA or relevant postgraduate coursework is a plus.
  • Experience within SaaS or technology-enabled services environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, Wrike, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, or Salesforce is advantageous.
Benefits
  • Annual base salary ranging from $120,300 to $140,000, depending on geographic market, skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).
  • Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Tuition reimbursement.
  • Additional resources and programs supporting physical, financial, and overall well-being.
  • Opportunities for professional development and long-term career growth.
  • A collaborative and inclusive environment that values diverse perspectives, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Flexible work arrangements, with the position offered remotely.
