Job Description
Neuroscience Group is looking for an IT Support & Endpoint Specialist to join our Information Technology team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, working directly with people, and supporting a diverse technology environment within a growing healthcare organization.
In this role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for employee technology support while helping maintain the hardware, software, endpoint devices, virtual desktop environment, and other systems our teams rely on each day. You’ll work closely with employees across the organization to troubleshoot issues, provide practical solutions, and help ensure reliable access to technology supporting both administrative and patient-care operations.
We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical troubleshooting skills with exceptional customer service. Technology experience is important, but so is the ability to listen, communicate clearly, remain patient, and help employees become more comfortable and confident using technology.
Requirements:What You’ll Do
- Serve as a primary resource for employee technology questions and support requests received in person, by phone, email, ticketing system, or remote-support tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, application, printing, scanning, connectivity, authentication, audio, and peripheral issues.
- Support Windows desktops and laptops, mobile devices, monitors, docking stations, printers, scanners, and other workstation technology.
- Assist with Microsoft 365 technologies, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune, multifactor authentication, user accounts, groups, and licensing.
- Support our virtual desktop environment, including Dell Wyse ThinOS devices, Wyse Management Suite, and Omnissa Horizon.
- Provide support for 3CX phones and telecommunications, VPN and remote connectivity, and other technology used throughout the organization.
- Prepare technology for new employees, transfers, office moves, and workstation replacements, including equipment, accounts, applications, phones, and peripherals.
- Assist with healthcare technology, including EHR, scheduling, imaging, and other clinical applications and equipment requiring IT connectivity.
- Maintain accurate documentation, asset inventories, troubleshooting information, procedures, and user guides.
- Participate in technology implementations, upgrades, deployments, testing, office moves, and other IT projects.
- Identify recurring technology issues and recommend practical improvements to systems, workflows, documentation, and employee education.
What We’re Looking For
- Associate degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred; an equivalent combination of education and relevant hands-on experience will be considered.
- Two or more years of experience in technical support, desktop support, help desk, endpoint support, or systems support preferred.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting Windows computers, user accounts, business applications, hardware, printers, networks, and peripherals.
- Experience with technologies such as Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune, Dell Wyse ThinOS, Wyse Management Suite, Omnissa Horizon, and 3CX is strongly valued.
- Healthcare IT experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service, communication, organization, documentation, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to explain technical information in a clear and approachable way to employees with different levels of technical experience.
- A willingness to learn new technologies, ask questions, take initiative, and know when an issue should be escalated.
- Dependability, attention to detail, discretion, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning.
The Right Fit
The right person for this position is someone who genuinely enjoys both technology and helping people. You don’t need to know the answer to every technical problem, but you should be curious enough to investigate it, resourceful enough to work toward a solution, and comfortable asking for assistance or escalating an issue when appropriate.
Because we operate in a healthcare environment, professionalism, confidentiality, security awareness, and responsiveness are essential. This position plays an important role in keeping our employees connected to the technology they need so they can remain focused on providing exceptional service and patient care.
If you’re a hands-on IT professional who enjoys troubleshooting, learning new technology, and making a difference for the people you support, we encourage you to apply and learn more about joining Neuroscience Group.
