Join a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations practice delivering complex finance transformation projects for global customers.
In this senior functional role, you will translate business requirements into scalable D365 F&O Finance solutions across the full implementation lifecycle.
You will work closely with customers, finance stakeholders, developers, and distributed delivery teams to design and implement effective solutions.
Your expertise will span core finance processes including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, budgeting, tax, and financial dimensions.
The role combines solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement.
You will also contribute to workshops, customer engagements, functional documentation, and knowledge sharing while guiding junior consultants.

• Lead functional activities across Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementation and managed services engagements.
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into effective D365 F&O Finance solutions.
• Conduct requirement-gathering sessions, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities.
• Configure and support core D365 Finance functionality, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank Management, Budgeting, Tax, Financial Dimensions, and Period and Year-End Closing.
• Prepare detailed functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams on customizations, integrations, and extensions.
• Lead functional workshops, customer discussions, product demonstrations, knowledge-transfer sessions, and solution walkthroughs.
• Support data migration, integrations, system testing, user acceptance testing, go-live, and stabilization activities from a functional perspective.
• Analyze and resolve functional issues across implementation and managed services environments, ensuring incidents and service requests are addressed within agreed timelines.
• Provide production support and work proactively to identify opportunities for process and solution improvements.
• Collaborate effectively with onshore, offshore, customer, and technical teams across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
• Review project deliverables and provide functional guidance, mentoring, and support to junior consultants.
• Maintain high-quality solution documentation and contribute to functional best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

• 7–10 years of overall professional experience, including strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Proven experience in D365 F&O Finance functional consulting across at least 2–3 full-cycle implementations and/or significant managed services or application support engagements.
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting business processes and their translation into ERP solutions.
• Hands-on expertise configuring D365 Finance functionality across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank Management, Budgeting, Tax, Financial Dimensions, and Period/Year-End Closing.
• Experience with requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, functional design, configuration, testing, and UAT.
• Ability to create clear functional specifications and collaborate effectively with technical developers and integration teams.
• Experience supporting integrations and data migration from a functional perspective.
• Good understanding of D365 F&O security, workflows, and end-to-end business processes.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Lifecycle Services (LCS), or similar project and support management tools is preferred.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication, customer-facing, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance certifications such as MB-300 or MB-310 are advantageous.
• Experience working with global customers and multi-country implementations is a plus.
• Experience in managed services or application support environments is preferred.
• Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, and related Microsoft technologies is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies is desirable.
• Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively to distributed teams.
