This leadership role sits at the center of large-scale, high-impact healthcare technology programs, ensuring the successful delivery of complex, multi-stream initiatives. The PMO Lead will oversee project governance, planning, budgeting, and execution across interdependent releases and technical environments. This role requires close collaboration with technical architects, delivery teams, and client stakeholders to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and system dependencies. You will guide project managers, strengthen delivery discipline, and ensure risks are proactively identified and mitigated. The environment is fast-paced, highly collaborative, and focused on improving healthcare outcomes through technology innovation. It offers strong exposure to enterprise transformation initiatives and structured career growth within a mission-driven context.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the planning, definition, and execution of large-scale or multiple concurrent complex projects, ensuring alignment with release milestones, architecture, and environment readiness.
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, resources, and delivery quality to ensure successful on-time and on-budget execution.
  • Manage scope changes, assess impacts in collaboration with technical architects, and implement approved adjustments.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate project risks including architectural dependencies, infrastructure constraints, and release readiness challenges.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring clarity of roles, deadlines, and deliverables across project streams.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client-side project management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Lead and mentor a small team of project managers, ensuring strong delivery governance and performance alignment.
  • Support proposal development and solution shaping in collaboration with technical and architecture teams.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in program or portfolio management within complex, enterprise-scale environments.
  • Proven leadership experience managing direct reports and leading project management teams.
  • Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), release cycles, and project governance frameworks.
  • Experience with risk management, including architectural and integration dependencies.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical architects and engineering teams.
  • Proficiency with project management and tracking tools such as MS Project, Jira, and SharePoint.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience in release management, configuration, or infrastructure-aware environments is highly preferred.
  • Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on delivery execution.
Benefits:
  • Competitive annual salary ranging from $86,000 to $123,000 depending on experience and location.
  • Fully remote role (United States only).
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer match.
  • Generous and flexible vacation policy.
  • Tuition reimbursement and educational assistance programs.
  • Access to leadership development and technical training academies.
  • Opportunity for limited travel (0–10%) depending on project needs.
