OUTPATIENT POSITION
We are looking for a full-time employed Physiatrist who is eager to work with a dedicated team of professionals to address the broad patient population at the Rehabilitation Institute at Sinai. This position requires proficiency in addressing the needs of various diagnostic conditions including:
- Musculoskeletal medicine
- Pain management
- Mild to Moderate Brian Injury
- Cancer rehabilitation
The department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Sinai Hospital and the Sinai Rehabilitation Center were founded over 60 years ago. We are an academically oriented department that includes a Research Division led by our NIH trained director of clinical research.
Our residency program has been fully accredited since 1977.
- We have 12 residents, 4 per year.
- Sinai is now the home of a regional medical campus with George Washington University and a faculty appointment is obtainable.
The Department of PMR is looking to build upon our established practice
- We are fully CARF accredited in inpatient brain injury, outpatient brain injury, general rehab, amputee rehab and stroke.
- All 14 current physiatrists are board certified in PMR, with subspecialties including brain injury, spinal cord injury, pain medicine, electrodiagnostic medicine, and independent medical examination.
If you possess the following qualifications, please apply immediately
- MD or DO from an Accredited Medical School
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Successful completion of an ACGME approved residency program in PM&R
- Ability to Successfully obtain a Maryland medical license & DEA license
Additional Information:
- Some inpatient call at Sinai is required.
- Residents take in house call.
- This is not an interventional spine position.
This role offers a competitive guaranteed base salary of $225-280K. The base salary is dependent on specialty, board certification & experience, with opportunity for additional incentive compensation if applicable.
