Essential Job Duties:

We are seeking a Quality Control Technician at our Ashtabula, OH Manufacturing Facility

• Oversee/Train current Quality department personnel on dimensional inspection skills
• Responsible for PPAP, first article inspections and submissions
• Assist with Internal Audits and upkeep of ISO 9001 documentation
• Perform and or/train personnel in calibration of equipment
• Assist with root cause/corrective action regarding customer and internal issues

All job offers are contingent upon post-hire requirements: successful background check, drug screen/physical, and completion of required paperwork

Required Skills:

• 5+ years experience in manufacturing environment. Rubber/plastic industry preferred
• Highly proficient in dimensional inspection, use of measuring equipment, and mathematical skills
• Proficient in blueprint reading/interpretation
• Prior experience in calibration and calibration software
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements and internal audits
• Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to learn, use ERP software
• Ability to create inspection instructions including control plan, receiving and visual aids
• Strong work ethic and ability to work with personnel in all departments
