Position Summary:
The primary role of Shipping is to ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free from damage.
Key Responsibilities:

Identify and make up orders off a pick sheet.

Pick and stage outbound shipments.

Stage a trailer to ensure that shipments are loaded properly, and maximum loads are achieved.

Clear packaging area by securing and loading finished pallets, moving empty pallets.

Maintain a safe work environment by watching out for foot traffic: following standards and procedures: complying with legal regulations per all forklift operations.

Accomplish warehousing and organizational mission by completed related results as needed.

Use scanner in the correct manner to properly scan and maintain accurate inventory levels.

Complete necessary forklift maintenance and associated reports to ensure maximum forklift performance and overall plant safety.

Participate in the monthly inventory process.

Maintain work area in a clean and sanitary manner.

Other responsibilities as assigned.

Education & Experience:

High School Diploma/GED preferred.

Prior experience operating a Stand-up Forklift preferred. Two or more years of related work experience is preferred.

Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Working Conditions:

Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours per day.

Must be able to bend, stoop and squat as needed for housekeeping responsibilities and other miscellaneous duties.

Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds

Must have good hand/eye coordination.

Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Must be able to work 40 or more hours per week.

Must be able to work mandatory overtime if necessary.

Must adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).

Must pass the Carl Buddig and Company Forklift Training and Evaluation Program on an annual basis.

Pay Rate for this position is $20.00 per hour.
