Adjunct Faculty: Undergraduate Nursing Skills at College of St. Scholastica, Inc. – Duluth, Minnesota

Job Summary:

The College of St. Scholastica seeks qualified adjunct faculty candidates to support undergraduate nursing students within the simulation/lab learning environments.

Key Results/Responbilities:

Team teaches assigned simulation/lab learning activities, provides technical support to meet course outcomes, following standards of best-practice, fosters a safe learning environment, collaborates regularly with faculty and staff, supports the takes-down and sets-up for the simulation/lab activities, and performs other duties as assigned. Additional orientation per course will be provided.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN). -MN RN license.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a wide diversity of students, faculty and staff.
• Ability to complete simulation orientation and training within the first month of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completed or enrolled in a Master’s Degree program in Nursing (MSN) -Teaching experience
• Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) certification
• Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP)
