Job Description

Position Summary:

The Custodian is responsible for performing custodial duties, minor maintenance, and other miscellaneous duties in order to ensure that bank facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner.

Essential Functions:

  • The Custodian responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Cleaning offices and meeting rooms
  • Mopping tile and concrete floor areas
  • Vacuuming all carpeted areas
  • Dusting all furniture and fixtures as required
  • Washing and disinfecting all bathroom floors, toilet seats, and bathroom fixtures
  • Cleaning all mirrors
  • Replenishing toilet tissue and soap as needed
  • Emptying all waste baskets and garbage cans
  • Placing garbage in outside storage bins
  • Cleaning entrances and exits including glass, doors, and hardware
  • Washing all finger marks from walls, doors, hardware, and glass
  • Cleaning kitchen sinks and counters
  • Assisting with buffing floors and shampooing carpets when needed
  • Sweeping sidewalks and removing debris in parking lot
  • Cleaning and wiping down ATM and night drop areas
  • Reporting damages and vandalism
  • The individual will lock and unlock assigned offices; secure buildings checking for unlocked doors, and turn off lights when finished with duties and adhere to all security policies and procedures;

  • The individual will maintain strict confidentiality with regard to any bank information the incumbent may come in contact with during the performance of the duties assigned.

Monday through Friday evenings
Approximately 20 hours per week
