Reports to: Marketing Director

$20 – $25 per hour

About Does Entertainment

Does Entertainment owns and operates live music venues, produces festivals, and promotes arena and stadium-scale shows. We build the operational backbone behind all of it — from conception to artist offers, all the way to the settlements, the systems, and the financial infrastructure that let artists and operators focus on the show. We are for the fans, the artists, and the spaces that bring us together.

This past year, we promoted a record-breaking stadium show, brought our expertise to stadium shows as consultants, and operated our two venues year-round. Next year’s calendar is materially larger, and our venue portfolio is growing quickly with it.

Marketing is what turns a confirmed show into a sold-out room: the announce, the presale, the on-sale, and every post, email, listing, and flyer in between. This role helps keep that work accurate, on time, and moving.

The Role

You’ll support day-to-day marketing execution across our events, venues, festivals, and special projects — building and scheduling social posts and email campaigns, keeping show trackers and listings current, supporting ad setup, and helping with grassroots and onsite promotion.

This is a good fit for someone who is detail-obsessed, comfortable keeping several campaigns moving at once, and wants hands-on experience in live music marketing. This is a part-time role of 15–20 hours per week. Some evenings and weekends are required, particularly for onsite show and festival coverage.

What You’ll Do

Social Media & Community

  • Build and schedule organic social media posts across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other platforms
  • Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and tags on venue and festival social channels

Email & CRM

  • Build and schedule email campaigns, including presales, on-sales, newsletters, ticket offers, and event reminders
  • Support maintenance of email lists, purchaser lists, segmentation, and basic CRM organization

Paid & Traditional Media

  • Assist with Meta and TikTok ad setup, including ad access approvals and building custom audiences (artist engagement, pixel, and affinity lists)
  • Support RFPs and help manage relationships with traditional media partners

Show Tracking, Assets & Listings

  • Maintain show trackers: track announcement, presale, and on-sale timelines; add pertinent information from confirmations; create and link ad plans; and add ticketing and Facebook Event links
  • Pull and upload approved artist assets — photos, videos, bios, tour information, and social handles — for upcoming shows to their respective Google Drive folders
  • Keep websites and event listings updated with accurate show information, ticket links, support additions, schedule changes, and sold-out messaging
  • Submit and maintain event listings with local media and calendar partners
  • Proofread marketing materials for dates, times, artist names, ticket links, pricing, and other event details before publication

Promotions, Partnerships & Grassroots

  • Assist with giveaways and promotions, including setup, winner selection, communication, and fulfillment
  • Research local marketing opportunities, community partners, businesses, influencers, media outlets, and potential promotional partnerships
  • Assist with grassroots marketing, including flyers, posters, QR cards, street-team materials, and local business outreach

Onsite & Quick-Turn Support

  • Assist with onsite festival and show marketing, including content capture, social posting, partner and sponsor coverage, signage checks, giveaways, and artist marketing needs
  • Take on quick-turn marketing requests and help keep multiple campaigns moving at the same time

What We’re Looking For

Required

  • Strong attention to detail — you catch the wrong date, the broken link, and the misspelled artist name before anyone else sees it
  • Working knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, including posting, scheduling, and community management
  • Clear, upbeat written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable and self-directed with a flexible schedule, including accurately tracking and reporting all hours worked
  • Comfort with Google Drive, spreadsheets, and learning new platforms, including using AI tools to work more efficiently
  • Availability for some evenings and weekends for onsite show and festival support
  • A motivated self-starter with a positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Comfort with the pace, culture, and pivots in live entertainment

Preferred

  • Marketing, social media, or promotions experience in live music, events, hospitality, or a related field
  • Experience with an email marketing platform, a ticketing platform, or a CRM
  • Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager or TikTok Ads Manager
  • Basic design or content skills (e.g., Canva, photo and short-form video capture)
  • Coursework or a degree in marketing, communications, or a related field

Why Does Entertainment

  • Work that connects to the show. Employees get event access and staff ticket allocations — this is work you can point at and be at.
  • Close to the campaign. You will see how a show gets announced, promoted, and sold, from the first tracker entry to the sold-out post.
  • Learn the whole playbook. Social, email, paid, grassroots, partnerships, and onsite — real reps across the full marketing mix.
  • Flexible hours. A part-time schedule built around show cycles, with room to take on more as you grow.
  • Colleagues who know the business. Experienced, down-to-earth operators who have done this at scale.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $20 – $25 per hour, commensurate with experience
  • Part-time schedule of 15–20 hours per week
  • Event access and staff ticket allocations

We work in live entertainment, so schedules flex with the show calendar, but we plan ahead and respect your time.
