Business Development Representative in Englewood, Colorado at Anchor Network Solutions, Inc.
Job Description
Why this role matters
Every new Anchor client starts with a first conversation, and you're the person who starts it. You'll find businesses that fit our target market, get their owners and decision makers on the phone, and book the meetings our Senior Business Development Representative turns into new clients. You'll be coached by our outsourced sales management partner, join sales calls in person, and learn B2B technology sales from the ground up, with a clear path to grow into a closing role.
Who we are
Anchor Network Solutions is a managed service provider (MSP) with offices in Englewood, Colorado and Colby, Kansas. Our purpose is removing technology burdens with expert solutions and great service. We bring big-company technology and security to small and mid-sized businesses, and three things set us apart:
- Hospitality-grade customer service
- Predictable results through a technology and security roadmap
- Dedicated AI and compliance consulting
We stand behind our work with a 100% money-back guarantee, which makes it a lot easier to pick up the phone and ask for a meeting.
Anchor runs on EOS, the Entrepreneurial Operating System. For you, that means clear goals, a weekly meeting rhythm, quarterly conversations with your manager, and no guessing about how you're measured.

Our core values
We hire, review and recognize people on five core values. This is you if:
- Own It — You own your call list. You make the calls you planned to make, log every one, and follow up when you said you would.
- Question Why — You ask the questions that tell you whether a prospect is really a fit, and you keep looking for better ways to reach the decision maker.
- Company Before Team & Team Before Self — You book meetings that are right for Anchor, not just meetings that count, and you set up the person closing the deal to succeed.
- Relationships Are Everything — You treat every gatekeeper, prospect and coworker with respect, because today's “not now” can be next year's client.
- Optimistic By Nature — Rejection doesn't slow you down. You pick up the phone for the next call expecting it to be the one.
If you read this list and found yourself nodding, we want to talk to you.
What you'll do
- Build prospect lists of businesses that fit our target market, and find their owners and decision makers.
- Make a high volume of outbound calls every day, with follow-up by email and LinkedIn.
- Qualify prospects and book meetings on our Senior Business Development Representative's calendar.
- Confirm appointments and pass along notes so every meeting starts prepared.
- Join in-person sales calls: prepare, take notes and own the follow-up.
- Represent Anchor at networking and association events.
- Log every call and next step in HubSpot, and take part in our weekly sales meeting and sales training.
What success looks like
- First 90 days: You know our services, uniques and target market, you've completed sales training, and you're working your list and booking qualified meetings every week. You're building your warm 250 list and attending targeted networking events to gain leads, referrals and centers of influence.
- By month 6: Your call activity is steady and on target, and the meetings you book are with decision makers who fit our target market. Your pipeline of booked meetings is growing and moving through the sales funnel.
- Ongoing: The sales funnel stays full, and the prospects you book meet a prepared, professional Anchor team from the first call.
