Job Summary

The Host/Conductor will lead the excitement of the RoadHouse Cinemas (RHC) experience, from the first impression to the

last impression. The host will understand the culture of the concept and the ability to expressively educate all guest

inquiries. In this position, the host is considered the first interaction guests have when walking into the Railyard. The Host

will maintain professionalism and positivity and uphold the quality standard of our products and service to ensure guest

satisfaction. He/she will assist in the safety of our guests by utilizing all safety guidelines and policies to ensure guest safety

and satisfaction.

Essential Functions

• Multitask with a sense of urgency, while maintaining consistency and accuracy
• Ensure guest safety by following all required safety processes and protocols
• Anticipate guest perception/needs
• Acknowledge all guests in RailYard with a friendly ‘welcome to RailYard’ upon arrival and ‘goodbye’ upon leaving.
• Greet all guests at bar, restaurant tables in RailYard, and patio.
• Provide a warm welcome to guests entering the Railyard
• Know and engage in suggestive selling of company merchandise, and food and drink specials
• Accurately Use Open Table (reservation system) and seat guests accordingly
• Use RHC equipment with respect and care (IPads, card readers, venue valet touch screens)
• Close out all tabs correctly for tables
• Assist Servers by running food and beverages to the guests
• Pre bus and clean tables in RailYard and patio
• Conduct side-work including wrapping silverware, preparing sauces, and all other assigned work
• Regularly check and restock necessary items at host stand and server station
• Set up patio and lobby and sweep and mop, prior to opening
• Ensure department cleanliness and functional operations of department equipment.
• Assist Servers in prebussing tables, clearing tables, and starting guests off with waters and providing menus
• Teamwork, assisting with other departments as needed.
• Review bathroom cleanliness (per training guidelines).
• Other duties as assigned

Experience and Education:

• Must obtain TIPS or Title 4 certification and Food Handlers Card within 30 days of hire.
• Previous bussing and server experience required.
• Basic math skills required.
• Must 18 years of age or older.
