HVAC Technician and Field Support in West Jordan, Utah at Quality Electrical Systems

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to support in-house production and testing of HVAC units, with a primary focus on factory acceptance testing in our West Jordan manufacturing location and occasional field service support when needed. This role combines hands-on equipment testing, troubleshooting, and technical validation with site travel for startup and service assistance. This position includes required travel to clients’ onsite facilities for project support.

Shift: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday - Friday, including 75% Travel

Responsibilities
Perform factory acceptance testing on
HVAC units.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and
controls issues
Follow test procedures and document results
Read schematics and technical drawings
Support quality checks and startup verification
Provide occasional field service and
diagnostics at job sites
Coordinate with engineering and production teams

Required Qualifications
EPA 608 Certification
HVAC technician experience
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Ability to read schematics and technical
documents

Pays: $45 an hour, plus per diem and traveling shift differential.
