Real Estate Manager in Silver Spring, Maryland at Delon Hampton & Associates, Chartered

DHA is seeking a Real Estate Manager to support FTA’s Program Management Oversight Contract. This is an on-call project manager who must be available when services are required under the PMO contract.

Responsibilities:

Real Estate Manager: The Real Estate Manager provides expertise in the oversight of funded

major capital transit projects. The REM reviews plans for real estate acquisition and management and other supporting documentation to ensure that projects are being built safely, on budget, on schedule, within scope, and in conformance with applicable regulations and guidelines, specifically with the Uniform Act. Serves as a technical resource and subject matter expert in appraisal, acquisition, relocation and real estate management on transit projects.

Requirements for Real Estate Manager:

1. Have a minimum of 7 years of real estate acquisition & relocation experience with respect to the Uniform Act (appraisal, acquisition, relocation & property management)
2. Two (2) of the minimum 7 years must have been devoted to real estate oversight services
3. Proven experience with developing scope, scheduling, and budget/cost estimating, evaluating tracking documents related to real estate

1. Must have Bachelor degree in business, public administration or related field
2. Extensive knowledge of FTA Policy guidance related to real estate acquisition and Real Estate Management Plan (RAMP) requirements
3. Professional designation, right of way certification, or license related to real estate is desirable but not required.
