Job Description

K2 is seeking a Compliance Assistant to support our clinics in a remote capacity.

The Compliance Assistant reports to the Vice President of Compliance and provides administrative support to K2’s compliance teams, including the quality and source building teams. This is a mainly remote position (90%) with the ability to be available on site with sufficient notice to support key projects.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Strong organization skills
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, manage time effectively and prioritize critical to quality tasks
  • Able to take initiative and follow up
  • Comfort with Microsoft Office (including Excel and Outlook) and Box platforms
  • Familiarity with clinical research a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Document management, including routing for signatures, publishing new versions, archiving superseded versions and filing within Box.
  • Review shared team email inboxes and forward correspondence to the appropriate team member
  • Facilitate scheduling for team meetings and events by sending invites, publishing the agenda, booking conference room, etc.
  • Conduct follow up on pending items and providing to leadership for review, per direction of Compliance leadership
  • Update and maintain team trackers
  • Archive and refresh trackers quarterly
  • Review closed studies in the esource platform and update status accordingly
  • Facilitate quality trainings: schedule, take attendance, assign to absent staff
  • Double check new source builds against standard requirements checklist
  • Verify staff credentials and grant access to compliance systems for new team members
  • Obtain metric reports and provide to leadership at defined intervals
  • Other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned
