Workday Certified HCM Consultant in India at Jobgether

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Workday Certified HCM Consultant based in India.

This is a client-facing functional consulting role focused on delivering end-to-end Workday HCM solutions for enterprise customers. You will play a key role in designing, configuring, and optimizing Workday HCM modules to meet complex business requirements across multiple client environments. The role involves working closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable functional solutions, while ensuring alignment with best practices and system capabilities. You will also contribute to integrations, testing, reporting, and ongoing system enhancements across Workday deployments. The environment is highly collaborative, remote-friendly, and project-driven, with exposure to multiple enterprise implementations and evolving HR technology landscapes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex functional challenges and working in fast-paced consulting engagements.

• Participate in or lead Workday HCM implementation and enhancement projects across multiple client environments.
• Gather and analyze business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders and translate them into functional design specifications.
• Design, configure, and optimize Workday HCM modules, ensuring alignment with business processes and system best practices.
• Develop functional documentation including design documents, process flows, and solution specifications.
• Support integration teams in designing and validating Workday integrations with third-party systems and vendors.
• Execute end-to-end testing, including functional validation, regression testing, and user acceptance support.
• Create and enhance Workday HCM reports and ensure data accuracy and business usability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support discovery, design, deployment, and post-go-live activities.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience working with Workday HCM in implementation or consulting environments.
• Active Workday HCM Core certification is required; additional certifications in Absence, Time Tracking, Benefits, or Compensation are a plus.
• Strong understanding of at least one or more Workday HCM functional modules and their configuration.
• Proven experience in writing functional design documents and supporting end-to-end Workday deployments.
• Experience working with integrations teams and supporting system integration design and validation.
• Strong knowledge of HCM reporting and ability to design complex Workday reports.
• Excellent communication skills with experience in client-facing or stakeholder-heavy environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a consulting mindset and collaborative attitude.
• Ability to work independently in remote, multi-stakeholder project environments.
