MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Within the Group Purchasing Department, we are recruiting a Group Capex Buyer (M/F).

Reporting to a Capex Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for managing Capex purchasing projects as well as related purchasing categories.Your main responsibilities will include:

  1. Define and deploy sourcing strategies
  • Consolidate needs at Group level to define and implement category strategies
  • Manage strategic suppliers directly within SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) frameworks
  1. Lead Capex purchasing projects
  • Manage Capex projects across several industrial sites, covering the full purchasing process from initial requirements to project completion:
  • Breaking down projects into purchasing packages
  • Supplier sourcing, RFQs and tenders
  • Costing, offer analysis and supplier selection
  • Negotiation and contract drafting
  • Claims management and supplier performance evaluation
  1. Manage supplier panels and market intelligence
  • Monitor markets and optimize supplier panels by category
  • Identify new suppliers
  • Manage and monitor strategic suppliers (evaluation and performance management)
  1. Ensure compliance and continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with purchasing processes, ethics and confidentiality rules
  • Develop and implement purchasing tools
  • Track performance indicators to ensure effective activity management

PROFILE

  • Master’s degree (Engineering – preferably agro/agri – or Business), ideally complemented by a specialization in Purchasing (MAI, DESMA or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Capex purchasing within the food industry or a similar industrial environment

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • 5 years of experience in capital expenditures (Capex) procurement in the food industry (or a similar sector).
  • Strong project management mindset
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (multiple internal and external stakeholders)
  • Ability to manage multiple topics and projects simultaneously
  • Dynamic, agile and reactive, able to quickly switch between projects
  • International exposure is a plus / Fluent in French and English
  • Willingness to travel occasionally in France and abroad
