Position: Quality Analyst / WMS
Team: Quality
Primary Objective of Position:
This position will be responsible for WMS Office; analyzing end-to-end processes to identify waste, bottlenecks, variation, rework, and implement data-driven improvements. Establishes and maintains process standardization through work instructions, procedures, and control of critical administrative process parameters. Monitors, analyzes, and reports KPI performance, including efficiency, rework, lead time in WMS Office.
Major Areas of Accountability:
- Identifies steps in an administrative process to separate those that do not add value; rework, and excess paperwork | documents, transporting physical documents, excessive emails, unnecessary processing, and searching for files
- Implements RPA (Robotic Process Automation) configuring software "robots" to perform repetitive and rule-based tasks
- Audits paper forms and manual approvals with digital systems and automated workflows, and updates as needed
- Reviews different software (such as TOTVS ERP or CRMs) to prevent employees from having to re-enter information from one platform to another
- Encourages a mindset of daily improvement; encourages everyone to identify waste and suggest solutions
- Gathers and analyzes data to measure the efficiency of new automated processes; ensure technology is delivering the expected return in time and quality
- Analyzes data, reports findings to Team; recommends process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Collaborates with other departments to solve any issues
- Fosters a culture of continuous improvement and excellence
- Other duties may be assigned by management to meet business needs
Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree (Information Technology, Information Systems, or Project Management preferred); equivalent professional experience will also be considered
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis and modeling
- Knowledge of digital transformation and Industry 4.0 concepts applied to manufacturing and administrative processes (data analytics, process automation, MES/ERP, VBA, RPA, RDA, Power BI or Tableau)
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Internet, e-Mail and SAP
- Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills including active listening is essential
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and shift work activities in order to meet business needs and goals
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, manipulate, and interpret data
- Demonstrated ability to propose, plan, and implement creative solutions
- Advanced problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
- Proven ability to lead projects by example
- Emotional intelligence to handle resistance
- Self-starting, results-oriented, flexible, and team player
Physical Requirements:
- Work is performed in both an office and manufacturing environment. Requires the ability to routinely move throughout the office and manufacturing facility to perform work
- Requires the ability to routinely lift up to 25 pounds
- Requires the ability to ascend and descend stairs daily to reach all areas in the manufacturing facility
